About Laura's House

The inception of Laura's House was inspired by a true story about a woman called Laura who was a victim of domestic violence.

Since 1994, Laura's House has continued to grow and offer a multitude of programs and services which provide vital support and education aimed at avoiding such tragic circumstances from ever occurring again.

Laura's House is more than just a responsive organization in the domestic violence crisis; it serves as a beacon of hope and healing for survivors. Through a comprehensive range of programs, Laura's House empowers individuals to reclaim their lives, fostering independence and safety — and its mission extends beyond that. With proactive public awareness efforts, Laura's House is dedicated to preventing abuse before it even begins. In 2023 alone, this Orange County-based nonprofit provided direct support to 5,059 survivors and educated and engaged 27,073 individuals through their prevention and outreach initiatives.

As Laura's House approaches its 30th anniversary, the need to amplify its impact has never been more pressing.

Join Laura's House and the Knights of Columbus Council 16488 in bridging the service gap for domestic violence survivors in Orange County and become a part of the mission to forge a future free from domestic violence.
